Your New Role

Come and join the team where we are leading the industry in driving our award winning 'Better Together' model, raising the quality of living in our Aged Cares and Retirement Villages. We are currently looking for a Maintenance Team Leader to join the friendly team at our St Luke's Green Retirement Community located in Woolloongabba

 

As a Maintenance Team Leader you will lead a team of 2 Part-Time employees and provide services to maintain our Retirement Village and Aged Care facility. 

 

What does your new role look like?

  • Develop and implement inspection and maintenance schedules for all key areas of accountability for sign off by more senior management
  • Allocate daily tasks amongst team members
  • Monitor the progress of scheduled and emergent tasks, addressing delays or issues
  • Manage maintenance related projects to completion
  • Liaise with senior management and residents in the representation of maintenance projects and activities
  • Inspect and perform basic respairs to customers home/rooms and ensure general upkeep for both our retirement village and aged care facility 
  • Prepare site for maintenance related audits
  • Use the Minduna Maintenance Program to raise and trac work orders
  • Contractor management 

 

 

About you

  • Previous maintenance experience. Trade background/qualifications preferred but not essential.
  • Experience managing or leading a team desirable but welcome applicants looking to take the next step up 
  • Previous experience in a Retirement Community, Aged Care, or hotel environment advantageous
  • A service, solution, and preventative approach with strong customer service skills
  • Computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft suite and asset management/ordering systems
  • Willing to obtain an NDIS Clearance Check if successful
  • Fully vaccinated for 2026 Influenza and COVID-19 (1 dose)
  • NDIS Screening check or willing to apply
