Home Care Support Worker

Join a supportive team helping older Australians (65+) live independently at home and make a real difference every day.

About You:

• Live across the Far North Coast area including Ballina, Banora Point, Byron Bay, Casuarina, Kingscliff, Mullumbimby, Pottsville, Tweed Heads and surrounding communities.
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (no international license's or shared vehicles)
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (some weekend rosters available for experienced carers)
• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start! 
• Open to Entry Level & Experienced candidates

What We Offer:

• $32.61 - $36.59 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
• Permanent Part-time contracts: 20-50 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts
• Permanent Part-Time opportunities for experienced candidates; Casual entry-level roles available with the potential to transition to Permanent Part-Time employment

Your Role

As a valued member of the team, you’ll deliver high-quality, person-centred care to older Australians in their homes.

• Domestic support: cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
• Personal care: showering, grooming, toileting & mobility support (where applicable)
• Medication assistance (where applicable and trained)
• Social support, transport and companionship (where trained)
• Promoting independence, dignity & wellbeing
