Australian Unity and Remedy Healthcare are expanding their clinical nursing education team across Australia, and are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse Educator to support the ongoing development, delivery and evaluation of our Nursing Education framework. About the role
Our Clinical Nurse Educators are key members of an integrated team and are responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of education and professional development to ensure the Nursing Home Health workforce has optimal clinical and care skills to deliver customer services. This role will support nursing staff that are responsible for delivering evidence-based, person-centered nursing care to support customers in their own homes.
This is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity, and may be based within VIC, NSW or QLD, where you will have flexibility to work in a hybrid work model. Inherent in this role is the ability and flexibility for occasional travel to deliver education and training to local Nursing teams across our network.
Utilising a range of delivery modes including digital, face-to-face & blended, the role will encompass the delivery of education to support nursing staff to complete in-home clinical assessments and provision of treatment in the management of acute and chronic conditions, such as:
- Managing medication including IV antibiotics via PICCs
- Complex wound care, including NPWT
- Surgical drain tube management
- Urinary catheter insertion and management

About You
- Registered Division 1 Nurse with current unrestricted AHPRA Registration
- Minimum 5 years Nursing Experience in various settings – Acute Care and HITH experience highly regarded
- Previous experience in Nursing education and/or related management highly regarded
- Demonstrated current practice knowledge and minimum 12 months experience in delivering care to customers receiving IVAB via PICC lines, complex wound care including NPWT, and surgical drain tube management will be highly regarded
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with business leaders to ensure timely, effective, and targeted communications
- Strong interpersonal capabilities and ability to work cross-functionally with others
- Ability to engage and develop others
- Location based in either VIC, NSW or QLD
- Current driver’s license and registered, insured roadworthy vehicle
