Are you a passionate Head Chef with strong leadership skills and a genuine care for supporting older Australians through nutritious, comforting meals? If you’re dreaming of a lifestyle change, this is your chance. We’re seeking a hands‑on Chef Manager to lead our hospitality team in a brand‑new, architecturally designed 68‑bed aged care residence located in the beautiful coastal town of Port Macquarie, NSW. This is a Permanent Full‑Time opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of Cooks, Kitchen Hands, and Food Service Assistants
  • Prepare high‑quality meals and snacks tailored to residents’ dietary needs and preferences
  • Ensure the kitchen maintains exceptional hygiene and safety standards
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents and families, gathering feedback to continuously enhance the dining experience
  • Manage stock levels and ordering within budget

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified Chef with a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Proven experience leading kitchen operations—aged care experience highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of special dietary requirements and modified meals
  • A genuine passion for creating a warm, home‑like dining experience
  • Willingness to obtain an NDIS Clearance Check
  • COVID‑19 vaccination (minimum 1 dose)
  • Candidates must have full working rights in Australia (no visa sponsorship available)
