As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you’ll play a key role in improving the lives of our clients through community-based therapy services in the Sunshine VIC area. You'll work within a supportive, multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing holistic, person-centred care.

The day to day

  • Delivering evidence-based clinical care in the community through a range of programs and funding streams including Home Care Package, Commonwealth Home Support Program and Hospital Substitution programs.
  • Delivery of evidence based occupational therapy through assessment and interventions for clients with complex health conditions or age-related care needs
  • Prescription of assistive aids and equipment, home environment modifications, and support services to support the goals of the client and carers
  • Supporting the development and clinical growth of other Occupational Therapists within the clinical team
  • Working within a multidisciplinary team to get the best outcomes for your clients
  • Engaging in our clinical supervision program with a designated clinical supervisor

Additional 

  • Required: Community or hospital OT experience
  • Qualifications: Occupational Therapy degree with AHPRA registration
  • Requirement: Valid driver’s licence, insured vehicle
