Join our largest Aboriginal Home Health team in NSW! Provide culturally appropriate in-home support to our aged Elders and make a difference for our mob in your community.

 

  • Aboriginal Support Worker positions available for Entry Level & Experienced applicants
  • Permanent Part-Time contracts available with hourly rate of $29.06p/h - $32.56p/h + 11.5% super
  • Travel Allowance of $0.92 per KM PLUS paid travel time between clients
  • Gosford NSW location and surrounding suburbs including Springfield, Erina, Wamberal, North & East Gosford.

 

Key Mandatories:

  • A compassionate, empathetic & respectful individual
  • Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle
  • Vaccinated for COVID-19 (2 Doses)
  • Live within 15-20km radius to enjoy a convenient commute

 

Your New Role:

  • Help at Home: Domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, vacuuming, bed making, and meal preparation
  • Social & Wellbeing***: Social support such as accompanying our Elders to their doctor appointment/s, shopping & social outings
  • Personal Care***: Perform Personal Care duties including showering, feeding and toileting; assist in oral medication prompting
  • Safety Practices & Client Awareness: Manual handling, driver awareness, social interactions & ongoing training & support
