General Manager Aged Care

We are now seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead our flagship community, The Alba, located in vibrant South Melbourne.

Your New Role

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and operational management of The Alba, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services that reflect our values of Bold, Warm, and Honest. You will inspire and guide a multidisciplinary team to create a thriving community where residents feel truly at home.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion the Better Together® experience by delivering exceptional customer service and care across the precinct
• Lead and develop a high-performing team culture that reflects our values and commitment to wellbeing
• Oversee recruitment, workforce planning, training, and coaching to ensure best practice across all functions
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, contractors, and guests to foster a collaborative and respectful environment
• Manage financial performance, reporting, and budgeting to meet key operational targets
• Proactively identify and manage risks, resolve complex issues, and ensure compliance with quality assurance and accreditation standards

About You

You are a values-driven leader with a proven track record in aged care management. You bring strategic thinking, operational excellence, and a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older Australians.

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous experience as a General Manager in a residential aged care setting
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities
• Expertise in operational management, including recruitment, rostering, and service delivery
• Financial acumen and experience in budget management and reporting
• Full vaccination for 2025 Influenza and COVID-19
