Lead with Heart and Skill – Chef Manager Opportunity in Port Macquarie
Are you a passionate head chef with strong leadership skills and a genuine care for supporting older Australians through nutritious, comforting meals? We’re looking for a hands-on Chef Manager to lead our hospitality team in a brand-new, architecturally designed 68-bed aged care residence in the stunning coastal town of Port Macquarie in this Permanent Full-Time role.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and inspire a team of Cooks, Kitchen Hands, and Food Service Assistants
- Prepare high-quality meals and snacks tailored to residents’ needs and preferences
- Maintain top-tier hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and families, gathering feedback to continuously improve our menu
- Manage stock and ordering within budget

What We’re Looking For
- A qualified Chef with Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Proven experience in managing kitchen operations, ideally in aged care or similar settings
- Strong understanding of special dietary requirements and modified meals
- A genuine passion for creating a warm, welcoming dining experience
- Willingness to obtain an NDIS Clearance Check
- Fully vaccinated for 2025 Influenza and COVID-19 (2 doses)
