In your new role as our Senior Wellbeing and Transitions Manager, you will engage with current and prospective residents and families; advising on suitable care and service options and providing support throughout the resident journey with Australian Unity. In this senior role, you will not only lead outcomes at The Alba, but also provide guidance, coaching and operational support to Wellbeing & Transitions Managers across our six aged care facilities in Melbourne. Acting as a regional subject matter expert, you will help resolve challenges, share best practice and drive consistency in performance and customer experience.

Your New Role:

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing the end-to-end resident journey, from initial enquiry through to admission, ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience at every touchpoint
  • Leading planned and unplanned admissions, guiding residents and families through decision-making and onboarding with care, clarity and confidence
  • Taking ownership of the sales pipeline and CRM, ensuring accurate tracking of enquiries, follow-ups and conversions, and maintaining strong pipeline health
  • Conducting personalised tours of The Alba and supporting homes, showcasing the community and creating meaningful, emotionally engaging experiences for prospective residents and families
  • Building, nurturing and converting referral pathways, including hospitals, GPs, allied health professionals, and community partners
  • Actively networking and representing Australian Unity at local events, industry forums and community engagements to drive brand awareness and referrals
  • Driving and maximising occupancy outcomes, with accountability for enquiry management, conversion performance and achieving targets
  • Acting as a senior escalation point, proactively identifying challenges and implementing solutions across multiple sites
  • Supporting Wellbeing & Transitions Managers across the Melbourne portfolio to uplift capability and performance
  • Providing on-site and remote support across six homes when needed, including leave coverage and operational support where required
  • Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer experience, operational alignment and continuous improvement

 

 

About you: 

Above all, you will be an accomplished Senior Sales and Relationship Manager, capable of driving performance, influencing others and delivering excellent customer outcomes while demonstrating our values of Bold, Warm and Honest.

Does this sound like you? 

  • Demonstrated experience in Aged Care, Nursing, Social Work or Allied Health (highly regarded)
  • Knowledge of Aged Care admissions and/or funding including ACFI (highly regarded)
  • Proven sales experience with the ability to develop effective relationships and convert referrals/consultations into customer growth
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box and manage complex situations
  • Proven ability to identify and engage alternative referral channels
  • A current driver’s licence (required for travel across multiple locations)
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID‑19
  • Vaccinated for 2026 Influenza or willing to obtain
