• Permanent Part Time roster:
  • Thursday 9am to 4pm
  • Friday 9am to 4pm
  • Saturday 9am to 4pm

About the Role:

As a member of our Lifestyle team, you'll play an important role in creating meaningful experiences that support the physical, emotional, cognitive and social wellbeing of our residents.

Responsibilities include:

• Actively encouraging residents to participate in a variety of meaningful lifestyle and wellbeing activities
• Assisting with the preparation, setup and delivery of group and individual activity programs
• Building positive relationships and providing one-on-one engagement with residents
• Supporting residents during special events, outings and community activities
• Communicating effectively with residents, families, volunteers and team members
• Recording attendance and contributing feedback to support continuous improvement of programs
• Continually exploring new opportunities and activities to support the social, emotional and physical wellbeing of residents
• Ensuring reporting and documentation requirements are completed accurately and efficiently

About you:

• Experience in Aged Care, Community, or Health Services
• A valid Australian Driver’s Licence
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A genuine person-centred approach to care
• Creativity and initiative in developing engaging activities
• Confidence working with individuals living with Dementia or Alzheimer’s (highly regarded)
• Ability to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations
