- Thursday 9am to 4pm
- Friday 9am to 4pm
- Saturday 9am to 4pm
About the Role:
As a member of our Lifestyle team, you'll play an important role in creating meaningful experiences that support the physical, emotional, cognitive and social wellbeing of our residents.
Responsibilities include:
- Actively encouraging residents to participate in a variety of meaningful lifestyle and wellbeing activities
- Assisting with the preparation, setup and delivery of group and individual activity programs
- Building positive relationships and providing one-on-one engagement with residents
- Supporting residents during special events, outings and community activities
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, volunteers and team members
- Recording attendance and contributing feedback to support continuous improvement of programs
- Continually exploring new opportunities and activities to support the social, emotional and physical wellbeing of residents
- Ensuring reporting and documentation requirements are completed accurately and efficiently
About you:
- Experience in Aged Care, Community, or Health Services
- A valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A genuine person-centred approach to care
- Creativity and initiative in developing engaging activities
- Confidence working with individuals living with Dementia or Alzheimer’s (highly regarded)
- Ability to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations
