Are you a passionate head chef with strong leadership skills and a genuine care for supporting older Australians through nutritious, comforting meals? We’re looking for a hands-on Chef Manager to lead our hospitality team in a brand-new, architecturally designed 68-bed aged care residence in the stunning coastal town of Port Macquarie in this Permanent Full-Time role.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and inspire a team of Cooks, Kitchen Hands, and Food Service Assistants

  • Prepare high-quality meals and snacks tailored to residents’ needs and preferences

  • Maintain top-tier hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen

  • Build meaningful relationships with residents and families, gathering feedback to continuously improve our menu

  • Manage stock and ordering within budget

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified Chef with Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

  • Proven experience in managing kitchen operations, ideally in aged care or similar settings

  • Strong understanding of special dietary requirements and modified meals

  • A genuine passion for creating a warm, welcoming dining experience

  • Willingness to obtain an NDIS Clearance Check

  • Vaccinated against COVID-19 (minimum 1)
