In this pivotal role, you’ll guide and mentor a team of dedicated carers, helping them deliver safe, consistent, high‑quality home care to customers across the Busselton, Bunbury and Peel region. If you enjoy balancing hands‑on leadership with problem‑solving, collaboration, and continuous improvement, this is your chance to create meaningful impact—every single day.
Your hours of work will be Monday to Friday working between 8am to 5pm - rotating start between 8am to 4pm and 8am to 5pm. You will be working with 2 other Care Team leaders and supported by an experienced and supportive Manager.
What you'll be doing:

Lead and inspire a team of personal carers to deliver exceptional, person‑centred care to customers living safely and independently at home

Coach, mentor, and develop your team through regular feedback, support, and performance conversations

Oversee daily service delivery, including scheduling, compliance, and quality assurance

Partner with internal teams to resolve issues, respond to incidents, and improve care outcomes

Support recruitment, onboarding, and capability building to grow a strong, engaged workforce

Champion safety, wellbeing, and quality standards, ensuring compliance with aged care regulations

Foster a positive, inclusive team culture focused on communication, collaboration, and measurable improvement
To succeed as a Care Team Leader, you’ll bring a blend of leadership, compassion, and practical know-how, including:

Proven experience leading and supporting a team of field workers - care industry experience advantageous

A natural ability to coach, motivate, and build capability in others

A strong customer focus and commitment to person‑centred care

Confident decision‑making, resilience, and excellent self‑management

Strong communication skills and the ability to engage frontline staff effectively

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable with digital workflows

Experience supporting return‑to‑work plans (highly regarded)

A mindset of continuous improvement—always looking for ways to lift performance and outcomes
