Food Service Assistant | Aged Care

About the role: 

• • Facility: Constitution Hill Aged Care facility, Northmead NSW
  • Pay Rate: $30.69 p/h + Super + Casual loading (Note: hourly rate is effective as of July 2025)
  • Shifts: 0630-1430 (7.5hrs) or 1430-1930 (5hrs) 
  • Days: Monday to Friday with strong need for Tues, Thursday, Friday shift coverage. NO WEEKEND SHIFTS available at this time. 

Your New Role

As a Food Services Assistant, you will work as part of a team to provide hospitality services to all residents, including assisting with the efficient preparation and delivery of quality meals. 

You will enjoy working within our Better Together® social model of ageing well, which offers a continuum of care and support services for our Residents, within a range of accommodation options in one location.

What does your new role look like?

• Assist in the preparation and delivery of weekly resident meals
• Cleaning support within the kitchen as required
• Catering to special dietary and nutritional needs of residents
• Interacting with residents and providing person centered care

Does this sound like you?

• MUST be available to work at least 3 days across Monday to Friday either AM and/or PM shift 
• Experience working in aged care setting or hospitality environment 
• Food handling certificate not mandatory 
• Have had 2 or more Covid-19 Vaccinations and annual Flu shot
• NDIS clearance check or willing to obtain
