Our home at Racecourse Grange in Mornington comprises of 127 bed and provides customers with a continuum of options from independence through to clinical care and memory support. It offers state-of-the-art facility’ within a light filled interior, on-site café, private dining facilities, hair salon and spa, and gym along with many other activities in the Peninsula precinct. 

 

Your New Role:

 

We currently have a vacancy for Registered Nurse Grade 2 , you will lead and support the coordination of all clinical and care needs for Residential Aged Care residents, and ensure that service delivery is met to a high standard.

 

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Role model the aspired Leadership behaviours to source, lead, develop and retain high quality team members aligned to the Australian Unity culture.
  • Support the clinical and care delivery across the RAC facility
  • Lead the effective delivery of a range of customer - centred and compliant aged care services through collaboration with the site management team and central support services
  • Work closely with the Clinical Care Manager to ensure RAC residents receive services of the required standard to enhance their Wellbeing and Align with their preferences and needs for non-clinical services - including Food, Lifestyle, Allied Health and Additional Services under Better Together Plus develop and implement actions within the Annual Operation Plan ensuring all targets are achieved.
  • Help to develop, manage and monitor annual budgets and strategies to ensure accommodation and services are delivered in a cost-effective manner and that revenue, costs and capex is managed within set budgets.
  • Collaborate with Retirement and Assisted Living Community Teams (as opportunities present) to support the delivery of the end to end Better Together® customer value proposition including the identification of suitable RAC occupancy and service delivery opportunities.
  • The role is Tuesday through to Friday 9.45 PM to 7.15 AM Perm part time 35 hours per week

Does this sound like you? 

 

  • Qualified Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Experience and knowledge regarding AN-ACC funding and NQIP reporting
  • Knowledge of ACQSC accreditation, procedures and standards.
  • Desirable - Tertiary qualifications in Business or similar and/or a minimum of two (3) years equivalent management experience in a similar role.
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID 19, and Influenza 2025
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • An accomplished People Leader with proven experience delivering effective coaching and performance management, whilst creating a positive ‘values’-based culture
