About the Role:

As a Lifestyle Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating and delivering engaging lifestyle programs that support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents.

You will:

• Deliver meaningful group and individual activities that enhance quality of life

• Support the planning, coordination and continuous improvement of lifestyle programs
• Encourage participation and build genuine connections with residents
• Work collaboratively with care teams, families and volunteers
• Assist with care planning, documentation and reporting requirements
• Adapt activities to meet the diverse needs, interests and preferences of residents

About you:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (mandatory requirement)

You will also bring:

• Experience in Aged Care, Community, or Health Services
• A valid Australian Driver’s Licence and confidence driving a 12-seater van
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A genuine person-centred approach to care
• Creativity and initiative in developing engaging activities
• Confidence working with individuals living with Dementia or Alzheimer’s (highly regarded)
• Ability to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations

Available roles:

• Part-Time (30 hours per week) Sunday to Wednesday | 10:00am – 6:00pm
• Casual Opportunity - Flexible availability across 7 days
