Home Care Support Worker - Campbeltown and Bowral Suburbs

  Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.

We are currently recruiting staff for:

Bowral suburbs of Barren Ground, Moss Vale, Bowral, Mittagong, Beaumont, Mt Murray, Bullio, Burradoo and Exeter

Campbeltown suburbs of Busby, Lurnea, Liverpool, Wattle Grove, Prestons, Denham Court, Leppington, Spring farm, Bardia, Minto, Glen Alpine, Airds, Cobitty and Surrounding areas

What’s On Offer 

• Permanent Part-Time contracts available offering on average 20-40hours per fortnight + opportunity to work extra hours based on business needs

• Earn from  $29.81 - $33 per hour based on your experience plus 11.5% super
• Travel Allowance of $0.92 per KM PLUS paid travel time

• A fully supported and paid Induction program 
• Traineeship Opportunity - Become Cert III qualified in Individual Support (Aged Care) all fees paid (for eligible employees)

Your New Role:

• Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation & assisted dressing
• Transport: transportation to appointments, shopping and social outings
• Personal Care: experienced staff assist customers with Personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, help at mealtime & medication prompting
• Client Awareness: building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training
• Safety Practices: adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe

Key Requirements:

• Current Australian Driver’s License and ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle 
• Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday
• Willing to travel across all suburbs that the branch services
• All Australian Unity Employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID19 with a minimum of 2 doses
• Proficiency in an additional language such as Mandarin/ Vietnamese/ Spanish/ Arabic/ Lebanese/ Greek is valued but not mandatory
