About the Opportunity:

As a Sourcing Specialist (Technology), you'll support the sourcing, contract management and vendor management activities across Australian Unity's technology portfolio, including software, cloud, infrastructure, cyber security, telecommunications, hardware and professional services.

Working closely with Technology leaders, Vendor Owners and suppliers, you'll help deliver sourcing initiatives, manage contract administration activities, support vendor governance programs and provide insightful reporting that drives informed commercial decision-making.

This role offers broad exposure to strategic technology suppliers, commercial negotiations, enterprise-wide initiatives and vendor management practices, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career within procurement and commercial operations.

What you’ll do

  • Supporting technology sourcing activities, including RFx processes, supplier engagement, evaluation coordination and commercial analysis.
  • Assisting with sourcing recommendations, approval papers, business cases and contract documentation.
  • Managing contract renewal activities, including tracking key dates, notice periods and required actions.
  • Maintaining accurate supplier, contract and vendor management information across sourcing systems.
  • Producing reporting and insights across spend, supplier performance, risks and commercial outcomes.
  • Coordinating vendor governance meetings, performance reviews and risk assessments.

 About You:

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with stakeholders, suppliers, contracts and data, and who is keen to build their career in technology sourcing and vendor management.

You may have experience in procurement, sourcing, contract management, vendor management or commercial operations, ideally with some exposure to technology suppliers, SaaS, cloud, managed services or similar environments.

You’ll be organised, curious and commercially minded, with strong attention to detail and the confidence to work across multiple priorities. You’ll also be comfortable using systems and reporting tools, and enjoy finding better ways to manage information, improve processes and support good business decisions.

Experience with Coupa, Tableau or contract management systems would be highly regarded, but more important is your willingness to learn, collaborate and contribute to a supportive team.
