Our Opportunity:
As a Sourcing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing project and category sourcing strategies across the enterprise. You’ll lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives, manage transactional sourcing activities, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to unlock maximum value.
This role offers the opportunity to drive high-impact, high-visibility projects across diverse categories, while working within a proactive and outcomes-focused team. You’ll also support the Head of Sourcing with a range of responsibilities including data analysis, sourcing process support, contract management, vendor engagement, best practice development, and supplier diversity initiatives.
Accountabilities will include:
- Leading the effective delivery of end-to-end sourcing activities including requests for proposal (RFPs), evaluations, supplier negotiations, contract development and execution.
- Identifying savings, efficiency and value creation opportunities and executing strategies to realise positive commercial outcomes that contribute to the savings and efficiency targets
- Undertaking market analysis to develop sourcing and category strategies
- Business partnering to deliver complex sourcing activities
- Spend and commercial reporting - develop regular reports and dashboards within the vendor management system on contract milestones, performance and risk
- Work closely with vendor owners, vendors and Group leadership to extract maximum commercial value from contracts, identify and mitigate risks and provide reporting on each
- Manage contract review meetings to ensure delivery against objectives and contract budgets
About You:
To be successful in the role you will bring strong technical sourcing, procurement and vendor management expertise, commercial acumen, and a methodical, analytical approach to problem-solving. Your ability to lead negotiations, manage ambiguity, and influence stakeholders will be key, along with confidence in presenting to project teams and senior leadership.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following capability / experience:
- Experience in leading Sourcing events, (RFx processes)
- Experience in negotiating and implementing Master Services Agreements
- Icertis and or DocuSign experience is useful
- Experience creating and presenting spend reports, both data and insights
- Demonstrated ability developing and continuously improving sourcing and vendor management frameworks
- Experience developing and implementing category strategies
- Financial services industry experience (preferred)
