For us, Real Wellbeing encompasses the whole experience of life. It’s about feeling supported in your health, connected with your community and empowered to live life on your terms.

About the Opportunity:

Australian Unity is looking for an experienced technology procurement professional to take ownership of sourcing and vendor management across our technology category. This is a hands-on role covering software, cloud, infrastructure, cyber security, telco, hardware and professional services, working closely with Technology leaders and large strategic suppliers.

What you’ll do:

  • Running end-to-end sourcing processes, RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations and contract execution across SaaS, infrastructure, managed services and professional services.
  • Managing vendor relationships for key strategic suppliers, including performance governance, SLA frameworks, review cadences and escalation pathways.
  • Identifying and delivering cost savings, commercial value and efficiency improvements and reporting on outcomes through dashboards and spend analytics using Coupa and Tableau.
  • Working alongside Technology leaders, budget owners and vendor owners to support sourcing decisions, contract renewals and day-to-day vendor governance.
  • Ensuring contracts appropriately address risk, compliance and regulatory obligations including APRA CPS 230 and CPS 234 requirements.

About You:

You have a clear track record leading complex sourcing initiatives across SaaS, cloud, managed services and professional services. You know your way around a contract, MSAs, SOWs, SaaS terms, IP, data protection, service credits and exit provisions are all familiar territory.

You're commercially sharp, you can model TCO, benchmark pricing and turn spend data into clear recommendations. You're also comfortable presenting those to senior stakeholders and running cross-functional deal teams without needing a lot of direction.

Experience in a regulated environment is important, and a financial services background is a genuine advantage. You'll be comfortable in tools like Coupa and Tableau, and familiarity with a contract lifecycle management system such as Icertis is a plus.
