About the Opportunity:

 

Reporting to the National Site Support Manager, this role sits within our Customer, Digital & Technology team and is responsible for delivering high-quality onsite technology support across Australian Unity. You'll operate within our Tech Bar model, providing face-to-face assistance, troubleshooting technical issues and supporting employees with a broad range of technology needs.

 

This is a highly visible role that partners with employees at all levels of the organisation, including senior executives and Board members. You'll build strong relationships, provide tailored support, run user training sessions and act as an advocate for the customer within our technology function.

 

The role also includes regular travel to metropolitan, regional and remote sites to deliver onsite support services and contribute to a consistent technology experience across our workforce.

 

 What you'll be doing

  • Providing face-to-face technical support for incidents, requests and technology-related issues across the business.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service through our Tech Bar and onsite support model.
  • Supporting senior executives and Board members through a high touch "white glove" support experience.
  • Taking ownership of support cases from initial request through to resolution, keeping customers informed along the way.
  • Running technology training and coaching sessions for employees with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Collaborating with other technology teams to resolve complex issues and improve outcomes for customers.

 

About You:

 

You'll be a customer-focused technology professional who enjoys solving problems, building relationships and making technology easy for others to understand. You'll be confident engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation and take pride in delivering a consistently high standard of service.

 

You will bring experience working in an IT support or Service Desk environment and have a solid understanding of Microsoft technologies, Windows operating systems and end-user support. You'll be comfortable managing competing priorities, communicating technical concepts in simple terms and maintaining a calm and professional approach when resolving issues.

 

You'll also be someone who enjoys learning, embraces technology changes and is motivated by finding better ways to support customers and improve service delivery
