Our Opportunity 

 

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Enablement, this is a rare opportunity to architect and lead enterprise-wide initiatives that build a future-ready, high-performing, and customer-obsessed organisation. You’ll be at the forefront of shaping our operating model, embedding a culture of continuous improvement, and driving strategic change across Australian Unity.

 

Ideal for a seasoned professional with a background in top-tier management consulting or large-scale transformation, this role offers the chance to influence at the highest levels and deliver lasting impact.

 

Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Capability Building: Design and implement learning frameworks that develop critical skills and future-fit capabilities across the organisation.
  • Strategic Change Leadership: Establish principles and frameworks to guide change across business units and strategic programs.
  • Process Excellence: Lead data-driven process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma to drive performance and efficiency.
  • Culture & Leadership: Role model aspirational leadership behaviours and build a team aligned to our values and culture.
  • Enterprise Collaboration: Partner across functions to deliver strategic initiatives and embed customer obsession at every level.

 

What we are looking for

 

  • Proven experience in operational excellence, transformation, or organisational capability—ideally within a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Background in management consulting or health insurance highly regarded.
  • Expertise in process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma desirable).
  • Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and leadership presence.
