The Opportunity

The Senior Internal Communications Lead from Home Health acts as a key member of both the internal communications team supporting initiatives across the organisation (known as Group) and the Home Health platform. This role will develop and implement communication strategies that connect our workforce with our values, our leaders and our business.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Development and implementation of internal communications strategies
    • Develop integrated HH internal communications strategies and plans in alignment with business stakeholder requirements.
    • Manage and provide strategic guidance on the content of key Home Health internal communication channels including key employee meetings, newsletters, videos, sharepoint online that is relevant to the needs of the workforce.
    • Develop collaboration and engagement programs to promote Home Health’s strategy and vision.

 

  • Provide strategic communication advice and support for HH.
    • Develop integrated HH internal communications strategies and plans in alignment with business stakeholder requirements.
    • Manage and provide strategic guidance on the content of key Home Health internal communication channels including as key employee meetings, newsletters, videos, sharepoint online that is relevant to the needs of the workforce
    • Develop collaboration and engagement programs to promote the Home Health’s strategy and vision.

 

  • Manage and govern HH internal communications channels.
    • Manage the Home Health content calendar, sourcing, and preparing content,
    • Create and distribute content via approved internal communication HH channels.
    • Develop HH content relevant for Group Channels
    • Manage the Home Health content calendar, sourcing, and preparing content.

 

  • Support key internal communications projects and crisis communications.
    • Develop and implement internal communications campaigns/programs in support of strategic initiatives, operational requirements, and projects – i.e.. Key days of significance / Safe Work Month / Aged Care Employee Day
    • Support the business to inform and engage employees during crisis situations and transformational change.
    • Cascade and adapt Group crisis messages / transformation to HH as required.

 

Please note this is 12-month Fixed Term contract

You will bring:

 

  • Tertiary degree qualification preferably in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related business field.
  • 10 years’ + experience in a communications, public relations, or related fields.
  • Ability to take detailed briefs or complex information and transform into engaging, easy to understand communications material.
  • Experience in working with a variety of stakeholders, prioritise and work on multiple projects.
  • Ability to craft high-quality content in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexibly across the business and respond promptly as the needs arise.
  • Demonstrated ability to create purpose-driven integrated communication strategies and plans.
  • Collaborative, team-orientated approach.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, with a proven capability to deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Tech savvy and highly capable, with experience using content management systems, the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with Sharepoint intranet and Bananatag valuable
  • Strong work ethic and demonstrate initiative.

  • Understanding of brand design principles and guidelines
