Your New Role Looks Like This:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Senior Auditor to join our Internal Audit team. This role offers a unique opportunity to assess and enhance IT risks and controls across the organization while working with a diverse range of technologies and industry frameworks. Your expertise will ensure that our technology environment is secure, efficient, and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and execute IT audits, including assessments of IT general controls (ITGCs), cybersecurity, cloud security, data governance, and IT operations.
- Evaluate IT risks and controls in accordance with industry standards such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and ITIL.
- Assess IT processes, applications, and infrastructure to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., APRA CPS234, PCI-DSS).
- Provide recommendations to improve IT security, business continuity, and system resilience.
- Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and business teams to enhance control environments and reduce risk exposure.
- Stay up to date with emerging IT risks, cybersecurity threats, and regulatory changes.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with clear findings, root cause analysis, and actionable recommendations.
- Support management with advisory projects, risk assessments, and IT governance initiatives.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT audit, IT risk management, or cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of IT risk frameworks, security standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience auditing cybersecurity, cloud environments, application controls, network infrastructure, IT governance, and outsourced IT services.
- Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit engagements.
