Your New Role Looks Like This:
Join our Corporate Services Financial Control Team as a Senior Financial Accountant, where you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and commercially focused financial reporting and insights.
Reporting to the Financial Control Manager, you will collaborate with Group Finance & Strategy and key commercial stakeholders to drive efficiency, enhance financial performance, and support strategic decision-making. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Financial Reporting & Compliance – Ensure a seamless and accurate month-end and year-end close, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- General Ledger & Transactions – Manage accounting and ledger transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and allocations.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations – Perform and review reconciliations to maintain financial integrity and accuracy.
- Budgeting & Forecasting – Contribute to the annual budgeting, ongoing forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
- Regulatory & Tax Compliance – Ensure compliance with BAS, FBT entertainment reporting, and other regulatory requirements.
- Audit & Risk Management – Support internal and external audits by providing timely and accurate financial information.
- Process Improvement & Insights – Identify and implement efficiency improvements, providing meaningful financial analysis for data-driven decision-making.
- Stakeholder Collaboration – Build strong relationships across the business to drive financial performance and operational excellence
About You:
- CA or CPA qualified
- More than 2 years post qualifying accounting experience
- Previous experience in management accounting and performance reporting highly regarded
- Solid experience in system processes, variance analysis, reconciliations, financial controls and issue resolution
- Experience in forecasting and budgeting
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g. Power Query, Power pivot), tech savvy and computer literate in a range of financial software and accounting packages (e.g. SUN, TM1, Coupa and Blackline)
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and work methodically whilst under pressure
