Our Opportunity:

 

The Senior Delivery Lead (aligned to Private Health Insurance) is responsible for driving the successful delivery of strategic initiatives through the leadership of multiple agile squads. This position plays a critical role in enabling the realisation of business value by ensuring teams are aligned to strategic priorities, delivering iteratively, and operating within the Enterprise Value Execution (EVE) delivery framework.

 

Operating across cross-functional teams, the role oversees squad planning, execution, and delivery cadence to ensure outcomes are achieved in line with business expectations. It is accountable for managing inter-squad dependencies, facilitating agile ceremonies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and delivery excellence.

 

Accountabilities include:

 

  • Drive alignment to the Enterprise Value Execution (EVE) framework
  • Manage inter-squad dependencies and remove delivery blockers
  • Build strong relationships with Portfolio Managers, Product Owners, and senior stakeholders
  • Support squads in adopting and maturing agile ways of working
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure alignment to delivery goals
  • Collaborate with change, communications, and business teams to ensure readiness
  • Integrate change management into delivery planning
  • Monitor adoption and value realisation post-delivery
  • Lead planning and execution of strategic initiatives across multiple agile squads
  • Lead cross-functional platform squads, providing technical direction and mentorship
  • Ensure iterative delivery aligned to business priorities and meeting wider Technology strategy
  • Define and drive the technical roadmap for platform capabilities
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards
  • Champion DevOps practices across teams to improve deployment frequency and reduce lead time

 

About You:

 

To be successful in the role you will have deep experience leading agile delivery across multiple squads or teams, ideally within complex, regulated, or enterprise environments with the proven ability to apply scaled agile frameworks to drive strategic outcomes. Further to this you will be able to demonstrate the following capabilities / experience:

 

  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale technology, transformation, or business initiatives contributing to digital enablement, operational efficiency, and business value realisation.
  • Superior stakeholder engagement & influencing skills allowing you to navigate executive, technical, and operational stakeholder landscapes
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, or equivalent.
  • Practical experience applying agile principles in high-risk, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Proven experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and platform engineering
  • Drive automation, observability, and self-service capabilities for development teams
  • Large scale team leadership experience, allowing you to oversee delivery across multiple agile squads with a combined headcount more than 40+, including cross-functional roles spanning engineering, product, design, and business domains.
  • Experience in Private Health Insurance (highly desirable)
  • Familiarity with agile delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, and MS Teams for backlog management, reporting, and team coordination (highly desirable).
