Our Opportunity:

 

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be harnessing advanced data science and machine learning techniques to facilitate data-driven decision-making. This includes managing the end-to-end data science process, from ideation and data gathering to initial modelling, production, and post-deployment reporting and maintenance.

 

The Senior Data Scientist will also play a pivotal role in managing the feature store, which serves as the data science database, housing critical tables, views, stored procedures, and ETL jobs. You’ll have an open-minded approach to continually improve and augment feature sets, recognising that valuable features may exist beyond the current database. Additionally, you will be responsible for orchestrating various processes spread across different environments.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models.
  • Generating accurate sales pipeline budgets through advanced forecasting.
  • Conducting AB classification experiments to optimise campaigns.
  • Performing post-campaign analysis to evaluate marketing and advertising effectiveness.
  • Creating AI solutions using OpenAI APIs and other technologies.
  • Analysing customer behaviour and preferences for personalised marketing.
  • Leading the development of new predictive models.

 

About You:

 

To be successful in the role you will have:

 

  • A Bachelor degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics) is required; advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in data science, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
  • Proficiency in Python, R & SQL.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated strong customer focus.
