Our Opportunity:
We currently have an ~8 month fixed term full time opportunity for a Senior Content Designer, responsible for planning, creating and executing digital content experiences that meet the needs of users whilst aligning with business goals. You will collaborate closely as part of a cross-functional team with Product managers, Product designers, UX Researchers, SEO Specialists and Developers to ensure seamless integration of content throughout the product development process.
You will have a strong understanding (and participate in) user research, gathering insights and utilise data to define, lead and plan a clear content strategy. Your content strategy will translate into concepts that are simple and functionally effective, enabling customer experiences that are intuitive, accessible and aligned with the Australian Unity brand.
Accountabilities include:
- Developing and executing comprehensive content strategies and frameworks that drive business outcomes and digital goals.
- Lead content strategies, including content pillars and goals, target audience personas, core messaging, and tone of voice.
- Shape digital customer experiences through clear, engaging, and user-centered content and content structures including Information Architecture.
- Lead content planning across departments to deliver consistent, high-quality, and audience-centric content.
- Collaborate with Product and UX designers and researchers to create content that aligns with content strategy, user needs, goals, and behaviours.
- Design and write content for digital products, services, and platforms (e.g. websites, apps, online management portals).
- Optimise content for conversion, accessibility, SEO and user experience through research, testing and insights
- Utilise SEO best practices and data insights (from GA, InMoment and Fullstory tools) to maximise visibility and user engagement.
About You:
To be successful in the role you will ideally possess a blend of creative vision, technical proficiency, and a user-centric mindset. You will also be able to demonstrate the following capabilities / experience:
- Deep experience in content strategy, content production, SEO, content governance, and stakeholder management.
- Strong portfolio showcasing digital content work, particularly within highly-regulated environments and/or service-based experiences.
- A proven track record of delivering successful digital content experiences for enterprise digital products in fast-paced environments.
- Proven experience using design processes and tools to digitise experiences including the use of Figma, survey and other digital research and collaboration tools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of user behaviour, UX best practices, and end to end content lifecycle management.
- The Ability to collaborate closely within a cross functional team of Product Managers, Designers, Technical Analysts, Engineers/Developers, and other experts across the business to define cohesive, accessible, content and writing systems across our entire suite of products.
