About the Opportunity:
This is a pivotal senior finance role within our Home Health business, partnering closely with Executive General Managers (EGMs) to drive strategic decision-making through high-quality financial reporting, forecasting and commercial insights.
As Senior Commercial Business Partner, you will own the end-to-end performance reporting and forecasting for your portfolio, ensuring alignment between financial outcomes and strategic priorities. You will play a key role in elevating finance capability, embedding modern and agile ways of working, and positioning finance as a proactive and trusted partner.
You will also be instrumental in reimagining reporting, strengthening governance and data integrity, and supporting transformation and integration initiatives across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead executive-level financial reporting, forecasting, and performance insights, delivering clear and actionable outputs
- Partner with EGMs to drive commercial decisions and performance outcomes
- Own regulatory reporting with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and governance
- Transform reporting through simplification, automation, and improved usability
- Drive data integrity and continuous improvement across reporting processes
- Build, nurture, and lead a high-performing reporting team
About You:
You’re a commercially minded finance leader who combines strategic thinking with strong execution. You bring experience navigating complex environments, are comfortable partnering at senior levels, and have a passion for turning data into meaningful insights that drive performance. You lead with clarity and influence, and are motivated to continuously improve how finance supports the business.
- Proven experience leading high-performing finance teams within large, complex organisations (preferably $1B+ scale).
- Strong expertise across financial reporting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance (including executive reporting and frameworks such as QFR/ACFR/CHSP)
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, compelling insights that influence executive decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor and liaison between finance functions and commercial/business units at senior levels (EGM level and above)
- Proven track record in driving governance excellence, ensuring data quality and integrity in financial and regulatory reports.
- Experience in leading finance capability uplift, embedding agile processes, and driving reporting innovation in line with organisational transformation agendas.
- Proficient in financial systems and reporting tools; experience with ERP implementations and data analytics is highly desirable.
- Experience in healthcare or home health sectors highly valued but not essential.
- Relevant qualifications (CA/CPA preferred) with 10+ years’ experience in senior finance roles
