Your New Role Looks Like This:

 

We have an exciting 12-month fixed-term opportunity for a Senior Payroll & HR Business Analyst to join our team and make a real impact on a major workforce initiative.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for providing critical analysis and insights to support the review and implementation of changes that are anticipated across industry. This position combines analytical expertise with stakeholder collaboration to deliver outcomes that meet compliance and organisational objectives.

 

The project involves the assessment and review of Home Health workforce, commercial assessment and workforce consideration to enable the development and implementation of a new suite of Home Health Enterprise Agreements (EAs).  The project will assess current entitlements, financial impacts, and system implementation requirements to support the implementation of the new agreements.

 

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis of current and proposed EA terms.
  • Develop and maintain data models to support costing scenarios.
  • Analyse and model classification grades, rates, and penalty structures.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Finance teams to assess cost implications of new entitlements.
  • Support the implementation of updated EAs into payroll systems.
  • Assist in systemising new entitlements and ensuring compliance with legislative and organisational standards.
  • Provide reporting and insights to support decision-making and negotiations. 

 

About You:

 

  • Strong background in financial analysis and data modelling.
  • Experience with EA interpretation, especially in payroll or HR contexts.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar analytical tools.
  • Understanding of award interpretation, penalty rates, and industrial relations frameworks.
  • Experience in system implementation or configuration (HRIS/Payroll and Time & Attendance systems).
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Prior experience working on EA projects or industrial relations initiatives is ideal.
  • Familiarity with EAs in sectors like healthcare, aged care, hospitality, or government.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
