Our Opportunity:
We currently have a 12 month fixed term full time opportunity for a Senior BA (Datacentre Transformation), who will play a pivotal role in delivering complex business and technology initiatives that drive measurable value and enable organisational strategy. Acting as a trusted partner to senior leaders and project sponsors, you will ensure business needs are understood, prioritised, and translated into practical, risk-aware solutions that optimise processes and improve performance.
Leading analysis and delivery of complex requirements across projects and strategic initiatives, this role ensures alignment between business objectives and solution design while supporting business readiness and change adoption. The Senior Business Analyst produces high-quality artefacts, including but not limited to business cases, functional specifications, process maps, and target operating models, while ensuring alignment to enterprise governance and compliance standards.
Accountabilities will include:
- Managing elicitation of complex, cross-functional business and technical requirements.
- Facilitating workshops with diverse stakeholder groups to align requirements to business goals.
- Leading identification of process improvement opportunities aligned to organisational objectives through effective change management strategies.
- Developing detailed process improvement proposals, including benefits analysis and risk considerations.
- Creating and maintaining data mappings for integration projects, ensuring alignment with business needs and functional / technical specifications.
- Managing relationships with a variety of stakeholders to ensure alignment of business needs and project goals.
- Supporting UAT planning and execution.
- Supporting business readiness planning and contribute to benefits realisation activities.
- Refresh end of life datacentre infrastructure
- Site network transformation to drive cost savings
- Right size our datacentre and Cloud footprints to balance savings vs scalability and performance
- Adopt modern tooling to simplify our operations with a single control view, and drive consistent deployments via templates
- Operating model transformation to create efficiencies and cross skill across datacentre and Cloud
About You:
To be successful in the role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and capabilities:
- Deep analytical capability.
- A strong understanding of VMware environments, Azure Cloud (including Azure local) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Hands on experience with Azure migrate for workload assessment, migration planning and execution
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Arc for managing hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Experience with cloud migration tools, work assessments and application rationalization
- Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, or other data analysis tools
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Experience navigating a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Experience working in heavily regulated environments
