About the Opportunity

 

As our Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and accurate delivery of end-to-end accounts receivable operations across our Home Health business.

 

Working in a high volume and fast paced environment, you will oversee complex billing, collections, reconciliations, and government funding processes while supporting and mentoring a small team. This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail, problem solving skills, and ability to build strong stakeholder relationships will make a real impact.

 

You will also have the opportunity to identify process improvements, streamline workflows, and contribute to the ongoing success of a growing and purpose driven business.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Manage the full accounts receivable function including billing, invoicing, payment allocation, collections, and account reconciliation
  • Oversee high volume transactions across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timely processing
  • Administer government funding payments and remittance processes, including bulk uploads, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution
  • Manage direct debit cycles and ensure all payments are processed accurately and on schedule
  • Investigate and resolve billing and payment variances to support accurate financial reporting and compliance requirements
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and external funding bodies
  • Support and guide junior team members while contributing to a collaborative and high performing team culture
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and help drive efficiencies across accounts receivable operations

 

What you’ll bring

 

You are an experienced Accounts Receivable professional with strong end to end AR knowledge gained within a complex, high volume environment. You are highly organised, detail oriented, and confident managing reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, and working across multiple systems.

 

You bring advanced Excel skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy. You are also a strong communicator who can build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and customers.

 

Experience within health, aged care, NDIS, or other government funded environments will be highly regarded, along with previous experience supporting or mentoring team members.
