Your New Role:

 

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Quality Business Partner to support and ensure the high standard of care and clinical services that are provided to the residents within our Residential Aged Care Facilities across VIC, NSW and QLD.

 

This role requires regular presence across our Melbourne sites located in Carlton, South Melbourne, and Mornington as well as the flexibility to work from home.  This full-time position will play a vital role in our daily operations.

 

In this pivotal and highly rewarding position, your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement
  • Identify areas for additional support and training.
  • Promoting and supporting Australian Unity’s vision to enrich the lives of our aged care residents.
  • Actively work to build a sustainable frontline care and clinical care capability.
  • Support, guide and assess the facilities ACQSC self-assessment tool.
  • Support the review of customer feedback and build the capability of teams to resolve complaints.
  • Undertake review of critical incidents to identify and act on needed improvements.
  • Complete reporting to meet regulatory responsibilities.
  • Support and educate teams to deliver person centred care approach.
  • Provide clinical support for outbreak management.

 

 About You

 

  • Experienced Registered Nurse with a current registration with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated competency in residential aged care nursing
  • Thorough understanding of infection control principles and demonstrated application in a residential aged care environment
  • Experience supporting the review, design, and implementation of clinical projects
  • Demonstrated experience working in a clinical management position across multiple sites
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
  • Commitment to knowledge and growth of self and other clinicians
  • The successful person may be required to travel interstate as required
