About us
Established in 1840, we are Australia’s first wellbeing company, delivering health, wealth and care services for our members and the community.
As a social enterprise, we’re motivated by our purpose to positively impact the wellbeing of millions. We reinvest profits to deliver products and services sustainably that matter most to our members, customers and the Australian community.
For us, Real Wellbeing encompasses the whole experience of life. It’s about feeling supported in your health, connected with your community and empowered to live life on your terms.
Your New Role Looks Like This:
Join us in shaping the future of technology within our Home Health business. We’re simplifying our technology ecosystem, retiring legacy systems, and ensuring our teams have modern, reliable platforms that support exceptional care.
As our Project Manager, you will guide this transformation by leading a small, high‑performing optimisation squad focused on the safe, orderly, and cost‑effective retirement of acquired technology systems. If you thrive on structured delivery, cross‑team coordination, and improving the technology landscape for a business with real impact, this role offers a chance to make visible, meaningful change.
This role plays a critical role in reducing complexity, cost, and risk across our Home Health technology landscape. By safely retiring systems that no longer serve the business, you’ll help ensure investments are focused on the platforms that truly enable exceptional care. Your leadership will support a more efficient, secure, and modern technology environment.
- Lead a small, focused optimisation squad to assess legacy systems and determine retention or retirement.
- Manage the end‑to‑end system retirement process, including user offboarding, decommissioning activities, and coordinated shutdowns.
- Review and manage software contracts to ensure renewal cycles, termination clauses, and notice periods are understood and acted on to avoid unnecessary spend.
- Coordinate closely with internal technology teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to sequence retirement activities safely and efficiently.
- Oversee data extraction, retention, and archival to meet compliance and organisational requirements.
- Provide clear, consistent reporting to senior leaders on progress, risks, decisions, and dependencies.
About You:
- 5+ years’ experience delivering technology optimisation, decommissioning, or simplification projects in PM, Delivery Lead, or Senior BA roles.
- Strong stakeholder and vendor‑coordination skills across technical and business environments.
- Solid understanding of software contracts and licensing models.
- Skilled in governance, planning, and producing clear, concise reporting for decision‑makers.
- Knowledge of data retention, archival, and compliance obligations.
- Able to lead and motivate a small squad to maintain focus, momentum, and delivery discipline.
- Excellent communication and leadership capability.
- Holds a relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM).
