Our Opportunity:
As a Product Operations Manager you are responsible for ensuring that product teams can focus on building great products by streamlining processes, enhancing collaboration, and establishing a strong community of practice (CoP).
This role will lead the design and implementation of scalable product development processes, drive the adoption of best practices and frameworks, and enable data-informed decision-making across the product function. It will also play a critical role in fostering a high-performing product culture by supporting capability uplift, standardising ways of working, and ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams.
Accountabilities include:
- Facilitate the adoption of best practice rituals (e.g., stand-ups, retros, discovery sprints) through training, coaching, and documentation.
- Develop and roll out standardised ways of working across teams, including prioritisation frameworks, discovery practices, and measurement approaches.
- Lead the rollout and continuous improvement of the Product Delivery Framework, ensuring it is embedded in team workflows.
- Conduct regular assessments of product maturity across teams and identify opportunities for uplift.
- Develop and implement tailored maturity uplift plans with clear milestones and continuous measurement.
- Partner with data and analytics teams to centralise product metrics and build accessible dashboards that support data-informed decision-making.
- Create and maintain a product playbook as a central point of reference
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their goals, pain points, and how product operations can support them
About You:
To be successful in the role you will have a unique blend of operational expertise, stakeholder engagement skills, and a deep understanding of product management principles — acting as a force multiplier for product teams and a trusted partner to leadership. You will also be able to demonstrate the following capabilities / experience:
- 5+ years of experience in product operations, product management, or a related role in a digital or technology-driven environment
- Proven experience designing and implementing scalable product development processes and frameworks
- Demonstrated success in managing product tooling ecosystems (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and driving adoption across teams
- Experience leading or supporting Communities of Practice or similar capability-building initiatives
- Track record of supporting product teams through enablement, onboarding, and maturity uplift programs
- Experience creating and maintaining product documentation, playbooks, and training materials
- Desirable: Experience in scaled agile environments (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) or enterprise-level product organisations
