About us

Established in 1840, we are Australia’s first wellbeing company, delivering health, wealth and care services for our members and the community.

As a social enterprise, we’re motivated by our purpose to positively impact the wellbeing of millions. We reinvest profits to deliver products and services sustainably that matter most to our members, customers and the Australian community.

For us, Real Wellbeing encompasses the whole experience of life. It’s about feeling supported in your health, connected with your community and empowered to live life on your terms.

About the Opportunity:

This newly created leadership role sits within our Transformation function and plays a pivotal role in ensuring change is delivered successfully across the organisation. You'll work closely with senior business, technology and delivery leaders to influence investment decisions, shape portfolio priorities and provide visibility of the organisation's capacity to absorb change.

This is not a traditional change management role focused on producing artefacts or applying methodology.

Instead, you'll take an enterprise-wide view of transformation, helping leaders make informed decisions about what change happens, when it happens and how it is delivered to maximise adoption, benefits realisation and sustainable business outcomes.

If you're energised by complexity, comfortable influencing at executive level and passionate about helping organisations successfully navigate large-scale transformation, we'd love to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the change strategy across a large and diverse transformation portfolio, ensuring change activities align to strategic business outcomes.
  • Partner with senior executives, portfolio leaders and technology teams to influence priorities, sequencing and transformation decisions.
  • Provide expert insight and challenge on organisational readiness, change capacity, adoption risks and benefits realisation.
  • Drive portfolio-level planning and dependency management across multiple interrelated initiatives.
  • Establish visibility of cumulative change impacts to support informed decision-making and proactive risk management.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Change Managers and Change Analysts to deliver high-quality outcomes.

 About You:

You are a strategic change leader with experience operating at a portfolio, program or enterprise level within large and complex organisations. You understand how business strategy, technology, operating model change and people outcomes intersect, and you bring a strong track record of helping organisations successfully navigate transformation at scale. Comfortable influencing executive stakeholders and contributing to key investment and prioritisation decisions, you're able to balance competing priorities while bringing clarity to ambiguity and complexity. You have experience building and leading high-performing change teams and are recognised for your pragmatic, outcome-focused approach, ensuring change delivers genuine adoption, benefits realisation and business value. Exposure to technology-enabled transformation is essential, while experience supporting large-scale enterprise programs, business integrations, mergers and acquisitions, or operating model change will be highly regarded.
