Your New Role Looks Like This:
Join our Wealth and Capital Markets team as a Performance and Reporting Analyst, where you will play a key role in delivering insights that drive investment decisions. In this role, you’ll support the Senior Performance Analyst by providing performance analysis, attribution, and reporting across a diverse range of asset classes. You’ll have the opportunity to work with internal investment teams and joint venture partners, ensuring accurate performance measurement and value-add reporting that supports strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Calculate internal rate of return (IRR) and time-weighted returns, ensuring accurate benchmarking for listed and unlisted assets.
- Attribution & Risk Analysis: Investigate investment decisions and their impact on performance through detailed attribution and risk assessments.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Respond to queries from portfolio managers, marketing teams, and research houses, providing meaningful insights.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of performance analytics processes and procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Work alongside the Senior Performance Analyst to ensure data accuracy, model integrity, and robust reporting.
- Data Management: Maintain and load relevant performance and asset information into reporting systems for seamless analysis.
- Collaboration: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate performance reports.
Please note that this is a 6 month fixed term contract opportunity.
About You:
- Minimum of 3 years experience, with middle office experience highly preferable
- Undergraduate degree in Commerce or related field
- Proficient knowledge of performance standards
- Strong Factset experience (preferred)
- Bloomberg experience (preferred)
- IRESS experience (preferred)
- Strong excel skills (mandatory)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
