Your New Role Looks Like This:

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technology Lead with extensive Human Resource and People Systems experience to immerse themselves into a high performing and collaborative Technology team with established human resource domain expertise.  We are looking for extensive experience managing systems and integrations across the end-to-end employee lifecycle with a particular focus on payroll processes.  Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills and people system knowledge will ensure you maintain and enhance the desired employee experience for Australian Unity.

 

You will be contributing to process continuity and strategic enablement by collaborating with key stakeholders, delivering business technology outcomes and managing technology change for the people systems team. You will be working in an agile mindset with the ability to break down complex business requirements into epics, user stories and tasks. Your experience working with agile ways of working will enable you to thrive in your new role.

 

You will work closely with the Head of People Systems and Technology, People System Analysts, Enterprise Architects, Engineers, other Technology Leads and external Vendors.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Create strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Manage incidents and lead problem solving exercises.
  • Support development of new and existing Integrations
  • Proactively document and manage people technology risks and issues.
  • Define User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
  • Contribute to sprint goals, story estimation and provide clearly documented outcomes.
  • Technical change and release management.
  • Proactively recommend areas for improvement supporting product owners and the broader business to deliver on the people strategies technology roadmap.
  • Manage business expectations.
  • Clearly articulate the user story and acceptance criteria to the Quality Assurance team.

 

 

About You:

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or a related field
  • Experience working in technology team focussed on HR Technology
  • Demonstratable business system integration knowledge across multiple platforms
  • Payroll system implementation or system management experience is a mandatory requirement.
  • Exceptional analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
  • String communication skills with the ability to build sustainable business relationships quickly.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Visio, Word.
  • Strong skills and experience in Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, coordination and time management skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity in a complex technology environment and drive conversation to outcome clarity in matrix business structures.
