Your New Role Looks Like This:
We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operational Resilience Analyst to support the ongoing operational processes and uplift activities to support APRA’s CPS 230 Operational Risk Management standard. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major uplift in how we manage operational risk, business continuity, and third-party resilience across the Group.
Reporting to the Head of Group Operational Resilience and Information Risk and working closely with the Business Resilience Manager, you’ll play a key role in embedding this important regulatory change across our business. Your work will help ensure we’re prepared, protected, and resilient in the face of disruption.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support the uplift of Business Continuity Management (BCM) frameworks, processes, and tools to meet CPS 230 requirements
- Assist in the development and execution of business continuity testing and resilience planning
- Partner with business units to review and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and disruption tolerance levels
- Help deliver awareness and training sessions across the business to implement and embed changes to policies and frameworks
- Coordinate working groups and stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams
- Contribute to governance reporting, risk assessments, and compliance monitoring activities
Please note that this is a fixed term contract of 12 months in length.
About You:
- Minimum 7 years capability and experience in technology risk, operational risk, business continuity management or similar experience in compliance projects and risk professional services
- Strong documentation writing skills particularly around governance, including policy and frameworks and procedures. Experience or proven appreciation of governance and risk management processes and business resilience framework and approach highly desirable.
- Experience within a financial services environment would be advantageous.
- Experience working in complex environments with success in delivering change. Demonstrated ability to influence others, drive cultural change and gain support for relevant initiatives.
- Knowledge and experience using GRC Archer would be advantageous
