Our Opportunity to you

The purposes of the Medical Administration Assistant is to be responsible for accurate completion of administration tasks and data input of various hospital referrals into our database. This role sits withing the Central Access Team, a service designed to facilitate smooth and effective execution of administration procedures to ensure optimal engagement of individuals connecting to Remedy Healthcare services.

 

This hybrid role will be working out of our Spring Street Office in Melbourne and from home on a permanent full-time basis.

 

The day to day

  • Delivering excellent customer service to inbound and outbound telephone and email enquiries for referrers, service providers and clients
  • Supporting the effective delivery of home-based health care across Australia
  • Providing quality administrative support to your team with fast and accurate turnaround of reporting, document processing and client data management
  • Collaborating closely with your Team Leader, Care Coordinators and other medical administrators
  • Helping to improve the health and wellbeing of hundreds of Australians

About you

  • Initiative-taking medical and office administrator, skilled in customer service
  • Experience of managing inbound phone and email enquiries to a high standard
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including skills in building rapport
  • Proven application of professionalism and sensitivity in customer service
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a challenging environment with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong administration and time management skills, tech savvy
  • Enthusiastic about health and committed to making a real difference in the community
