Are you highly organised, tech-savvy, and excited by the idea of improving the way a legal team operates? Australian Unity is looking for a Legal Operations Coordinator who will play a pivotal role in streamlining processes, optimising our legal technology, and providing hands-on support to both our Group Legal & Governance team and broader business.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Take ownership of our legal tech platforms (Icertis, Xakia, NetDocuments), becoming the go-to person for administration, training, troubleshooting, and system improvements.

  • Support the General Manager – Group Legal & Governance, with executive and operational support to keep things running seamlessly.
  • Provide paralegal and operational support, including contract management and automation, matter reporting, and coordinating business name and trademark renewals.
  • Contribute to governance and risk reporting, insurance renewals, vendor management, and legal panel engagement.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including AI-enabled solutions, to create smarter, more efficient ways of working.

Why this role?

You’ll work at the heart of a collegiate, supportive legal and governance team that values collaboration and innovation.  It’s a role with variety and impact, where your contributions will directly improve how our function delivers value to the organisation.

You’ll have the opportunity to develop your expertise in legal technology, governance processes, and paralegal support, while also building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
