About the Opportunity: 

This role sits within Australian Unity’s market‑leading Real Estate Funds Management business and supports the Select Income Fund (SIF), a contributory mortgage fund servicing retail, wholesale and adviser‑led investors. 

We’re looking for an Investor Services Associate to join our market‑leading contributory mortgage investment fund on a 6-months fixed term contract. 

The role is responsible for owning and delivering high‑quality service to both existing and prospective investors and advisers, building strong client relationships while ensuring accurate and timely administrative and operational support. You’ll also develop a solid understanding of Australian Unity’s real estate investment products and their positioning in the market, enabling you to confidently support investor needs and contribute to positive client outcomes. 

This opportunity is suited to someone who enjoys being client‑facing, detail‑oriented, and hands‑on, with a genuine interest in investments, lending, and financial services. You will also support the strategic sales and marketing initiatives and assist in the preparation of high‑quality investor collateral, working closely with stakeholders across the Australian Unity business including Portfolio Management, Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Distribution, and Finance. 

You will play an integral role in delivering an exceptional investor experience while supporting the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the fund. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Act as the first point of contact for investors and advisers, delivering high‑quality service via phone and email
  • Onboard new investors, coordinate investment transactions, and ongoing communications
  • Supporting fund operations including cash allocations, loan matching, queues, and reporting
  • Contributing to sales, marketing, and business development initiatives for the Select Income Fund
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall investor experience
  • Ensuring all activities are completed in line with governance, compliance, and risk requirements

About You 

You are a detail‑oriented and commercially minded professional with strong communication skills and experience working in investor‑facing or client service roles within financial services. 

You bring a proactive mindset, enjoy working with a range of stakeholders, and take pride in delivering accurate, timely work in a fast‑paced environment. An interest in real estate, funds management or investment products will see you thrive in this role. 

You will ideally have: 

  • Experience in investor relations, sales support or client services
  • Exposure to funds management, real estate lending or broader financial services
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with solid financial and analytical capability
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration
  • Advanced Excel and data management skills
  • RG146 (preferred) and a relevant tertiary qualification
