Our opportunity

 

Reconciliation and oversight of client statement of accounts for HCP funding. This requires operation of accounting systems, HCP software, Services Australia remittance advice, investigation of adjustments and other accounting activities.

 

Your key accountabilities will include (but not limited to);

 

  • Preparation of detailed client statements for services, purchases, credits and adjustments associated with the clients HCP funding for every calendar month.
  • Preparation of internal reports for the business claiming process each month. This includes detailed information on various service rates, provider charges and invoicing totals.
  • Reconciling and importing data to accounting systems
  • Preparation of monthly journals and financial reporting
  • Reviewing of payroll and HR
  • Budgeting, cash flow and provision of financial reports whilst adhering to trust accounting and compliance
  • Auditing of multiple inputs to the client statement, ensuring that the correct services have been charged at the agreed rates.
  • Reconciling the detailed remittance advice that comes back for each client from Services Australia. Identifying and explaining any variances between claims and funding received per client
  • Onboarding of clients in both the government portals and internal software must be accurately completed to ensure correct calculations of funding, client contributions and government invoicing.
  • Management of leave details for each client, discharge process and pricing changes is essential to meet government compliance for clients funding purposes.
  • Maintenance of effective financial and management accounting controls and systems

 

About you

 

We are searching for a professional who will join us in striving to live our values of bold, warm and honest, in everything we do.

 

Your expertise and qualifications will include:

 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification coupled with Membership of a recognised accounting body (CA or CPA qualified)
  • High competence utilising Microsoft Excel (formatting, pivot tables, analysis, and formulae).
  • 2 years’ demonstrated experience in a similar position
  • Patience and persistence in dealing with various government departments.
  • Able to demonstrate empathy for elderly clients navigating systems with which they are unfamiliar.
  • Experienced developed in cash flow reporting/cash flow projection.
  • A process and change agent mindset with strong organisational abilities.
  • Customer service focused with experience dealing with suppliers and internal managers
