Your New Role Looks Like This:

 

Join our Financial Control Team as a Financial Accountant, where you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and commercially focused financial reporting and insights.

 

Reporting to the Financial Control Manager, you’ll not only ensure financial accuracy but also identify smarter ways of working, reducing manual processes, and improving overall efficiency. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

 

At the heart of this role is process efficiency. We are looking for someone who is eager to eliminate inefficiencies, enhance reporting accuracy, and simplify workflows. Whether it’s automating manual tasks, refining reconciliation processes, or optimizing financial reporting, you’ll play a key role in driving smarter, faster, and more effective financial operations

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Financial Reporting & Compliance – Assist with the month-end and year-end close, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
  • General Ledger Management – Oversee accruals, prepayments, and general journal postings with precision.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations – Ensure timely and accurate reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting – Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning to drive informed decision-making.
  • Tax & Regulatory Compliance – Ensure accurate BAS submissions and FBT entertainment reporting.
  • Audit & Risk Management – Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Process Improvement & Insights – Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce manual work.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration – Build strong relationships across the business to support financial and operational goals.

 

 

About You:

 

  • Newly or part CA/CPA qualified
  • 4+ years relevant financial and management accounting will be advantageous.
  • Solid experience in system processes, variance analysis, reconciliations, issue resolution, journal processing
  • Experience in forecasting and budgeting
  • Advanced Excel skills, tech savvy and computer literate in a range of financial software and accounting packages (e.g. SUN, Coupa, Fraedom and Blackline)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and work methodically while under pressure
