Join our team, as an Employee Wellbeing & Safety Business Partner, to play a key role in implementing wellbeing and safety programs across Home Health, in line with Australian Unity’s broader initiatives. You'll build strong relationships with stakeholders and employees, driving safety outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting injury management and return-to-work processes. Success in this role means fostering a culture of continuous improvement, promoting a safe work environment, and acting as a trusted advisor to managers at all levels.
This is a full-time opportunity and can be based within Sydney, Melbourne, or Southeast QLD where you will have flexibility to work in a hybrid work model.
Key accountabilities:
- Coach and support employees and leaders in implementing wellbeing and safety standards, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
- Provide expert advice and collaborate on frameworks, systems, and solutions to improve employee and leader experiences.
- Analyse trends and data to develop proactive wellbeing and safety strategies that align with business objectives.
- Assist with reporting, data analysis, dashboard implementation, incident management, and regulatory interactions.
- Support continuous improvement through auditing processes, self-insurance, and coaching on risk assessments and safe work practices.
- Contribute to safety initiatives like the "Safer Me" project, drive enterprise-wide improvements, and lead strategies to enhance employee wellbeing and safety.
Does this sound like you?
- Tertiary qualification in Health & Safety or related field
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, injury management, and workers’ compensation
- Experience in aged and community care (preferred)
- Flexibility to work across multiple locations
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Skilled in managing priorities and expectations
- Proactive, engaged, and professional, with excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
