We’re looking for an Employee Wellbeing & Safety Business Partner and this role coordinates, provides advice and supports the delivery of safety and wellbeing initiatives within our Home Health team. In this hands-on role, you’ll work closely with frontline leaders and employees—providing practical guidance, building strong relationships, and fostering a safe, supportive work environment. As a trusted advisor, you’ll help improve how teams manage wellbeing and safety, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and positive outcomes.
This is a full-time role based in Victoria, with flexibility to work from our Spring Street Head Office or at one of our branches in Mulgrave or Ballarat.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide practical, day-to-day coaching and safety guidance to key stakeholders and frontline leaders
- Support and educate leaders on incident triage, investigation, and identifying what went wrong
- Facilitate quality and safety discussions, risk assessments, and Safety Committee meetings
- Deliver engaging and accessible safety advice, with a focus on learning and continuous improvement
- Partner with teams to build understanding of hazards and behavioural risks, including driver safety, manual handling, and working with vulnerable community members
- Guide leaders in navigating complex behaviours such as aggression, verbal abuse, and dementia
- Lead safety initiatives in your allocated region—including reporting, trend analysis, and project coordination
- Help teams understand and implement wellbeing and safety procedures, with a focus on proactive solutions rather than reactive responses
- Promote and support a positive safety culture through coaching, training, and change journeys
- Contribute to reporting and improvement initiatives, including dashboards, audits, and internal safety programs like “Safer Me”
What you’ll bring:
- A passion for employee wellbeing and safety, with a proactive and collaborative approach
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills—the ability to influence and build trusted relationships
- Confidence in managing competing priorities and working across multiple locations
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable navigating digital systems
- A relevant qualification in Health & Safety or a related field is desirable but not essential
- Willingness to learn and grow—we welcome applications from graduates or those ready to step into a Business Partner role with support and development
- Experience in aged or community care is a bonus but not required
