The Leadership Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Home Health Strategy: Lead a unified, clinically led, multidisciplinary approach in partnership with the Health Services leadership team.
• Optimise Services: Enhance the quality, growth, and sustainability of existing partnerships and contracts.
• Build Clinical Excellence: Strengthen brand awareness and reputation.
• Develop Unified Clinical Culture: Foster a culture of clinical excellence.
• Foster Innovation: Promote agile innovation through codesign, shared accountability, and empowerment.

Required Expertise and Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess an advanced degree such as a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or an equivalent. With at least 10-15 years of extensive nursing experience, including significant time in leadership roles, the candidate will have demonstrated their ability to lead and manage large teams effectively. You will have a proven track record in managing budgets, developing business plans, and implementing policies and procedures. Additionally, relevant certifications such as Certified Director of Nursing (CDONA) or Director of Nursing Services-Certified (DNS-CT) are essential to ensure the highest standards of clinical governance and excellence.

We are open to the Director of Nursing being based anywhere in Australia, with regular travel required.
