The Leadership Opportunity

Are you ready to lead and inspire a national Allied Health team towards a unified vision? Australian Unity is seeking a dynamic Director of Allied Health to help grow and transform our Allied Health services across Australia. 

As the Director of Allied Health, you will help develop and deliver models of care that demonstrate evidence-based outcomes and equity of access for older Australians. Enhancing clinical culture at scale, you will be part of a dynamic and expanding home health services offering across out of hospital and home care. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to deliver solutions that support equity of access for Aboriginal, regional, and remote communities. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Home Health Strategy: Lead a unified, clinically led, multidisciplinary approach in partnership with the Health Services leadership team.
• Optimise Services: Enhance the quality, growth, and sustainability of existing partnerships and contracts.
• Build Clinical Excellence: Strengthen brand awareness and reputation.
• Develop Unified Clinical Culture: Foster a culture of clinical excellence.
• Foster Innovation: Promote agile innovation through codesign, shared accountability, and empowerment.

Required Expertise and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in an Allied Health profession, over 10 years of experience in health service operations, and over 7 years in health service management and strategy. They will possess advanced knowledge of contemporary allied health practice, proven leadership skills, and extensive experience in stakeholder consultation, influencing, and conflict resolution.

We are open to the Director of Allied Health being based anywhere in Australia, with regular travel required.
