About the Opportunity:

 

The Digital Solution Architect is responsible for the delivery of digital and marketing technology architecture services to the health insurance domains. This role translates business requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient architecture solutions, along with the short-term design and oversight of business / technology solutions in alignment to broader domain roadmaps and enterprise blueprints. They will work closely with business sponsors, product owners and delivery team leaders to satisfy their digital and marketing technology architecture design requirements and deliver digital solution architecture as a service. 

 

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. 

 

Key responsibilities include: 

 

 

Strategic Alignment

  • Trusted advisor to advise the business, product, and technology owners in delivering solutions against their strategy, goals, and objectives.
  • Collaborates with product (portfolio) owner, product manager and other product stakeholders to create a program / project technology roadmap that support immediate business goals and align to the minimum viable architecture (MVA).
  • Align to the broader enterprise architecture vision and blueprints and deliver against business domain goals and objectives.

 

Solution Architecture Design

  • Contributes to the evaluation, design, and analysis for the implementation of a digital solution architecture as a service to implement and uplift business applications or technologies based on business strategy, business capabilities, value-streams, business requirements and enterprise standards.
  • Understand domain technology roadmap for solutions and recommend solution architecture services to support product delivery and execution.
  • Document and socialise clear architecture decisions with options analysis to support the right business outcome with rationale around tactical vs strategic decisions and the related risks and costs implications.

 

Delivery Design Governance

  • Support the architectural governance processes including the review and approval of new technology initiatives.
  • Administer architectural runway within product team(s) implementation of enablers while applying flexible architecture governance framework and design change control.
  • Participate in the domain governance forums for adherence to design and architecture.
  • Supports product (portfolio) owner in end-of-life product decisions to maintain, refresh or retire services or systems, including applications, technologies, processes, and information.
  • Support and guide digital solution architecture design services in response to business functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., capacity and server management).

 

Leadership & Consulting

  • Act as an internal advisor and guide solution architectures translation by technology SMEs into workable low level or detailed design components.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the technology team members and support other project leaders to ensure consistency and alignment across the organisation.

About You:

 

  • Advanced degree in computing, computer science, business / information systems or other IT related field
  • 6+ years in digital and or/marketing technology strategy and operational planning as a Domain or Solution Architect advisor.
  • 8+ years in these areas: Business Architecture, Digital Architecture, Data / Information Architecture, Technology Architecture, Integration Architecture or Solution Architecture
  • Comfortable at working with vague business requirements and assess / validate solution architecture requirements in a professional and diplomatic manner.
  • Proven experience with MarTech and DXPs especially Sitecore (include headless/SaaS).
  • Proven experience with customer relationship management platforms such as Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Guite Suite GA360 and sales and service clouds for customer and agent experiences/technologies and other Digital Experience Platforms (e.g. Optimisely, Fullystory).
  • Experience with cloud platforms AWS or Azure, SaaS models, microservices frameworks, and API-enablement platform, such as webMethods. 
  • Exposure to business process management technologies also desirable as well as using AI for enhanced CX and automation as well as recommendation engines.
