Your New Role Looks Like This:

 

Join us as a Commercial Manager, Life, where you’ll play a pivotal part in supporting the delivery of the Life business’ strategic and commercial objectives. Australian Unity’s Life business is a market leading provider of Investment, Education and Funeral Bond products and this role offers a unique blend of day to day business management, strategic support, business development, and stakeholder engagement, providing you with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on this exciting business.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Support the Life leadership team in day-to-day business management, identifying ways to enhance effectiveness.
  • Draft board reports and deliver high-quality management reporting.
  • Deliver regular reporting to external business partners as required under agreements.
  • Collaborate on key initiatives to deliver exceptional performance and customer value.
  • Support the execution of strategic growth initiatives, including M&A and business development opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations for clients and business partners.
  • Cultivate a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity.
  • Build productive relationships across the platform and Group to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate on key initiatives to deliver exceptional performance and customer value.

About You:

 

  • Tertiary qualification – Business, Finance or related discipline.
  • Sound understanding of the Funds Management and Financial Advice sectors
  • Commercial acumen and an advanced understanding of business growth levers
  • The ability to project manage initiatives that effect many people with diverse interests and perspectives
  • Developed negotiation skills
