Your New Role Looks Like This:

 

We’re looking for two dynamic professionals to join our team as key players in driving commercial and strategic initiatives within the Wealth & Capital Markets (W&CM) business unit. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Finance and Social Infrastructure, you’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact by supporting and executing high-profile projects.  

 

As a vital member of our platforms finance and commercial team, your role will focus on either Real Assets in Social Infrastructure or Financial Services (Funds Management), offering you exposure to a diverse range of finance initiatives across the W&CM platform. You'll also build and nurture strong partnerships with Business Unit leaders and teams within the W&CM platform, ensuring seamless collaboration and engagement on key business activities.

 

You will have primary responsibility for supporting and delivering key commercial and strategic initiatives for each sector alongside financial planning and analysis to support the growth ambitions of the business including preparation of annual strategic plans, driver-based analysis, business insights and scenario planning.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Providing commercial oversight and monitoring of strategic investments.
  • Benchmarking of financial and non-financial KPIs against competitors and identifying actionable performance improvement / risk mitigation initiatives.
  • Working closely with the senior team members, completing analysis of sector and business unit strategies as well as the evaluation of investment opportunities and other strategic initiatives.
  • Support the commercial oversight and monitoring of the W&CM platform capital funding requirements.
  • Developing robust financial models and providing financial and commercial analysis to support the evaluation of any mergers or acquisitions or divestment activity entered into by the business unit.
  • Responsible for regular monthly strategic, commercial and financial planning, analysis and business partnering

 

About You:

 

  • CFA Qualified (preferred).
  • Minimum 4 years relevant corporate finance or relevant transactions experience.
  • Direct sector experience (preferred).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Fantastic communication skills with the ability to cultivate productive and effective relationships at all levels of an organisation.
  • Strong focus on process improvement and efficiency with a strong attention to detail.
