About the Opportunity:

 

This is a key Commercial Business Partner role within our Finance & Strategy function, supporting our Enabling Functions business units. Partnering closely with senior stakeholders, you will deliver high-quality financial insights, reporting and analysis to drive effective decision-making and strong financial outcomes.

 

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely and commercially focused support, contributing to budgeting, forecasting and performance insights while strengthening governance and cost management. 

 

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly performance analysis, variance commentary, and business unit insights
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes to meet business unit and Group reporting requirements
  • Partner with stakeholders across Enabling Functions to support cost management, financial analysis and informed decision-making
  • Develop financial models to support initiatives such as tenders, restructures and benefit tracking
  • Support audit processes and regulatory requirements, ensuring strong governance and compliance standards
  • Contribute to shared services and technology cost allocation methodologies and calculations
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting, processes and data quality
  • Support ad-hoc analysis, technical accounting assessments, and strategic initiatives as required

 

 

About You:

 

You’re a commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical capability and a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement. You’re comfortable working in a dynamic environment, balancing competing priorities while delivering high-quality insights that add real value to the business.

 

You bring a strong foundation in financial management and business partnering, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights and influence outcomes. You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated to continuously improve how finance supports the organisation.

 

  • CA/CPA qualified with experience in accounting and finance roles within mid-to-large, complex organisations
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and commercial business partnering
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse teams
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability, with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working across both financial control and commercial finance environments
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements and drive efficiency
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
